Back and hip pain can be debilitating — it slows you down, steals your energy, and makes everyday tasks feel harder than they should. But the good news? The right movement can help you break out of that cycle.
One of my favorite exercises for this is the staggered-stance double kettlebell swing.
Why it helps:

  • It teaches your hips to hinge the way they’re supposed to
  • It builds strength and power without overloading the lower back
  • The staggered stance corrects side-to-side imbalances that often cause back and hip pain
  • It reinforces proper glute engagement so your back can finally stop doing all the work

When your hips move well, your spine can relax. When your core fires properly, your pain decreases.  And when you build strength in the right places, your whole body starts to feel more capable again.

If pain is holding you back, you don’t have to just “deal with it.”
Start with smart movement — like this — and rebuild your strength the right way.
